Cartoons...

Ozy and Millie – One of the greatest cartoon I have ever read. Found it at a time when I really needed a laugh at something more sophisticated than the tripe that passes for comedy nowadays, and much funnier than his other comic; I Drew This. If you have not read this cartoon, DO IT NOW!

Podunk U - Drawn by an online friend/aquaintence of mine, a guy who goes by at least 3 names that I know...but I guess "Steve Puckett" is probably his real one. Anyway, this is a really neat little strip about college life. I recomend y'all check it out.

Mandy - Another by ol' man Puckett (I say that though he's younger than I) featuring another of his creations, a dog named Mandy. Very funny strips, and very new so you can get in on the ground floor. See, I'm linking both his sites even though he hasn't linked me back.

Bell County Comics - They're back! They went away for a while, but by-crikey they're back! So join Falene, Mikey, and Alex as they humour you something rotton :D

2's A Company - The story of two friends, the simple minded and impulsive Andy and his long suffering friend Travis...oh, and Riley, a kid they found living in a dustbin. Well, that WAS what it was about, now it's gotten a lot more consistant. The cast has grown, and the strips have matured. I give it two thumbs and two big toes up.

Life Goes On - Drawn by a dude I know on DA and one of the guys that did guest art for me. Neat little strip, and it's pretty darn funny to boot :D

Bats In The Belfry - A great strip I got into a while back and forgot to add here (d'oh!) Anyways, it's a very funny, very nice looking piece of cartoon.

The Adventures Of Masked Cape Man - Another strip drawn by a friend on DA, and again a very good one. Though I'm still not sure quite what's going on in it, it IS very good :D

Fletcher Apts. - Story of three flatmates (well, they're american so it'd be roommates) and their "adventures". Very amusing strip, with an adult sense of humour that I haven't seen quite the same before. It get's two paws up!

Schrodinger - After biting through a cable TV cable, Schrodinger (a house cat) becomes much more than a mere pet...he becomes an evil-overlord wannabe. Amazingly funny strip that comes with the Thommy seal of aprooval...

San Antonio Rock City - A comic strip about the creator, and Punk Rock Messiah, Mitch Clem. This guy is responcible for me getting back into Punk music, where I started way back in 95 with "Dookie" and "Milo Goes To College."

The End Of Things – Can be funny, can be not-so-funny-as-thoughtful. This strip throws everything at you. You can laugh and feel like crying within three strips. The dude is a legend.

The Foxfire Chronicles - One of the few "non-funny" strips I read, and without doubt the best. Werewolves, soldiers, conspiracies, shady goings on, and mysterious characters. What more d'you want?

Mynarski Forest – Randomly eccentric cartoon from a Canadian guy. Funny as hell.

Freefall – A must for any fan of Sci-fi. Like Red Dwarf with an alien squid, a robot, and a humanoid wolf. One's a crook, one's child-like, and the other has no idea why they're there. Awsome stuffs.

SSDD - A Great UK strip, and one of the few from my green Island that actually has british humour. If you're one of those people who is offended by "rude" language should probably consider not going, but for those with a sense of humour, it's well worth going.

Newshounds – Another strip that just ended. You will like this if you have any knowledge of the news industry, politics, and life and if you don't you will learn from this cartoon, and you will laugh while doing it!

Jack - One of my new favourites. BE WARNED!!! This cartoon is VERY GRAPHIC and some people might lose their lunches at some of the stuff in there. But if you feel you can handle it, it's one of the most rewarding reads I've had since I dominated Ozy and Millie's and SSDD's archives in one day.

Faux Pas – Rapidly becoming one of my favourite cartoons. It's funny, it's sweet, it's touching, andit's tension filled. They are amazing artists too. Check out their wildlife prints.

VG cats – Holy crap! These are the only two words for this comic. If you know ANYTHING about computer games, then this will make you lose a kidney with laughter. No worry though, you have two.

Roomies – About people in the same situation as me…except their world is more normal.

Doonsbury – In my opinion, THE greatest cartoon that has ever been written. I love the way the story evolves, the characters grow up, and the whole thing keeps moving. That's why, almost 40 years on, it's still as fresh as it's ever been. Long may it keep going.

Sabrina Online - A cartoon I only recently got into. It's about a computer geek who, through no fault of her own, ends up working as IT technition in a porn studio.

Moondog - The story of Moon, who's a complete loser attempting to live in New York. But he's a lovable loser. The strip follows all the crap that comes his way, and the worst possible ways in which he deals with them. It's BACK!

Dume - Surfers are always funny, and this dude is no exception. Just be glad thatYOU don't share a house with Dume...not currently updating for some random reason. I think the strip I sent them must've killed them or something.

Bands...

Reuben – If you haven't figured out that I love this band, then you obviously haven't been paying close enough attention. These guys are my all time favourite band. Why? Well, they're amazing for a start, and they're funny as hell for another. And they genuinly seem to be great people. Heavy as hell in some songs, lighter than air in others. Check them out, for they are musical Jesus.

Idlewild – I got into these guys way back when my bud lent me a copy of 100 Broken Windows just after its release. Well, since then I've bought all the albums, and seen them three times so I guess I must like them.

Frenzal Rhomb - Australian Punks that literally blew me away. Every song is a hit, and with their added sense of humour, they should be the biggest thing sinced Matilda got waltzed. Tragically, they're not. There is no justice.

Face To Face - The most criminally under-apreciated punk band of the last 10 years. These guys did stuff that NO one else did, and what happened? They got a few nods, and a pat on the back for the odd song...then they broke up. Check out the jukebox, it's got all their music on. These are the guys I got my tattoo of.

Alkaline Trio - One of my all time favourite bands. Fast punkness, great catchy choruses, and dark lyrics. Awsome stuff.

Norma Jean – Jesus H Tap-dancing Christ! Never have the words “Christian orientated-rock” been so misplaced. They are quite possibly one of the heaviest bands on recording...saw them live and they were good too.

Every Time I Die – Three words came to mind when I first heard these Metalcore geniuses. Oh…my…god. They are phenomenal. I love Dillinger Escape Plan, but these guys are a much more accessible band for those new to the genre.

Sosumi - Easily described as a cross between Bush and Biffy Clyro, this Lincoln trio are far more. First heard of them when the added me on Myspace, and simply put, I loved every second of their songs. If you like either Bush or Biffy, or just good music in general, listen to this band. Seriously. Do it.

Face Bummers - Members of Monolith that have obviously hit their heads quite hard and decided to create "Poocore", a new type of Grindcore that they invented. Beware, thesongs are hazardous to your health, and may give you super-AIDS...in the ass.

Second Thought - My mate Ross and his kickass atmospheric amibient music. Great for people with hangovers.

Random places I go....

Define Cynical – The forum that I frequent more than any other. The Ozy and Millie forums, and officially the friendliest forum in the whole world. So if you like Ozy and Millie - why haven't you joined yet?

Furtopia - I am a fur, ok? I dunno why. I don't go in for any of the weird stuff like dressing up like an animal. That to me is like when Trekkies dress up like Kirk or whatever. However, I do love animals in a non-romantic way, and am quite hairy...so it just seemed logical to take the next step, d'you know what I mean? Besides, I stopped bothering to show up about a year ago. I just link it for the hell of it.

The Nice – Online comic forum for those comics lucky enough to be part of the elite webcartoonist clique. I drop in there occasionally.

DeiviantArt - Great place for meeting artists, chatting, seeing great art, and promoting your own. Again, here's mine.

Comic Genesis - Free hosting for web-cartoons. Possibly the greatest thing I have ever heard. I love them, and want their pups.

Weebl's Stuff – I love some of the newer animations here, and the songs are right up there with Bohemian Rhapsody in terms of greatness.

Soldier of Fortune – Like army surplus? Like pretending to be a WW2 soldier? Like wearing replica jackets and explaining to people about them? But don't have the gear? Go here, my son/daughter, and be enlightened to the world of being a war obsessive. Like me. All my random Paratrooper jackets and Smocks come from here.

XE currency converter – If you're like me (ie, borderline retarded at numbers) you will need this to buy from overseas.

eBay – Enough said.

Wolf: The Movie – Some people from DA trying to make an independent animated movie about a wolf pack. They need support.
